Kobe Sushi and Hibachi

Kobe Sushi and Hibachi is the perfect place for the full Japanese cuisine experience and a favorite stop for fresh sushi and sashimi. Take a seat at the sushi bar for a traditional experience, snag a padded bar chair at the liquor bar and order a roll to snack on, get a table with your friends, or go in for the full sushi and hibachi experience where dinner is the show.

We particularly love the lunch specials. Two rolls for $11, three rolls for $15, and $20 for a sushi and sashimi combo lunch to sate your cravings. If you're in a hurry, the rolls or bentos are the perfect lunch. But Kobe is also the ideal light and airy venue that makes you feel relaxed, welcome, and just a little fancy no matter where you sit or what you order.

Eddie's Snack Bar

The name may not sound like it, but Eddie's Snack Bar is one of the best places for sushi and Asian Fusion fast-casual cuisine. In fact, Davenport locals love Eddie's, and it's among the top-rated places where you can get sushi - and sushi-themed snacks.

Choose from over 15 traditional and original sushi rolls, plus sushi-style lunch wraps with sticky rice and seaweed. They also serve appetizers like crab rangoon, harumaki, stuffed wontons, sesame balls, takoyaki, steam buns, katsu pockets, and loaded fries. They have build-your-own bento boxes, traditional ramen, and boba tea.

Stop by for lunch and explore the menu. Sate your need for sushi and try something new while you're at it. We certainly have.

QC Sushi Japanese Kitchen

QC Sushi is dedicated to its core menu selection, and they do it very well. When you're looking for a pure sushi experience, head over to QC Sushi, just down the road from Eddie's Snack Shop. You can get sushi by the roll, order a party platter in the cool boat, and watch them build the rolls at the glass-front counter.

If you're looking for a more complete Japanese meal selection, they also have Teriyaki, Tempura, Udon, Soba, Ramen, Fried Rice, and steamed seafood to fill out your table. The dining room is elegant and welcoming with padded wood booths, polished tables, and graceful decorations for a relaxing sushi lunch or dinner.

Oshii Hibachi and Sushi

Oishii Hibachi and Sushi is another great Japanese restaurant in Davenport that does amazing sushi rolls, beautiful combo platters, expert to-go rolls, and also happens to have hibachi and a full selection of Japanese dinner options (as far as a sushi lover is concerned).

They have traditional and specialty rolls, from clean and simple to loaded and topped. They will load their sushi and sashimi onto a wooden boat or bridge when you order the party platter. But they are also great at packing a ton of sushi and sashimi into to-go boxes so they arrive at your house or party destination fully intact and ready to eat with chopsticks (or your fingers) for any occasion.

The restaurant itself is cool and welcoming, with dark polished tables in a light, airy dining room. Don't worry about skipping the hibachi; this one doesn't have hibachi tables, so you can focus 100% on exploring the sushi menu. Sushi is what they do best.

Red Ginger

Red Ginger - Sushi Grill & Bar has the vibes of a fast-casual sushi place straight out of Tokyo. The sign glows in the night, the lights are low, but the furnishing is elegant. You can snag a table if you come with friends. But if you're flying solo, get the full sushi experience by sitting at the glass-front sushi counter where the magic happens.

While they have a great selection of traditional Japanese appetizers and sides like edamame, gyoza, yakitori, shrimp tempura, tuna tartar, and sunomono, the main event is definitely the sushi and sashimi hand-made fresh with every order. The list of possible traditional and creative specialty rolls is endless. The combo specials are worth exploring, and the tempura desserts are uniquely delightful.
